ESFA set out to provide impartial and high-quality information on all accredited courses in England, to allow anyone from age 16 onwards to make informed and trusted choices for vocational and academic learning opportunities.
The key challenge to meet the objective set out by ESFA was the outdated user interface. Mars Spiders set out to redesign both the public-facing Find a course directory and provider backend portal used by providers to populate the directory.
The output of the quick wins alpha will be a low fidelity prototype that has been validated by a number of Career advisers and is used by development resource to build the private beta of Find a course. Both providers and the public were delighted with the Beta delivery. The user interface turned to be easy to use and intuitive resulting in incredible smooth user experience.
